When marketing departments approach web strategy all to often only what is familiar or technically expedient  - i.e. build a website, do some webinars -  is all that makes it into the marketing mix. While this approach is tried and true even the most resources strapped marketing teams can go much further and deeper into a comprehensive multi-channel web marketing strategy with just a little guidance. I will try to provide that guidance in this series of articles I call the “The Seven Stages of Internet Marketing”.

All the world is a stage and so is every marketing medium you employ for your business. When we consider online marketing in the age of Web 2.0 and all the technical advancements that support today’s Internet marketing capabilities we find seven supporting stages that we can use and integrate to push the boundaries of lead generation and conversion further than ever before.
